Fieldwork seminar

The UNIKE PhD Fellows at Aarhus University have just come back from fieldwork. Together with EPOKE PhD Fellows they share their experiences of data collection and ideas for thesis writing.

At Aarhus University, the PhD Fellows in EPOKE and UNIKE have recently come back from fieldwork in different countries. We are therefore having a fieldwork day seminar.

The PhD Fellows are presenting their research data and their methods of collecting data. This gives an opportunity to share experiences and inspiring each other.


Miguel Lim is presenting his work in his project: The Global Ranking of Universities: the industry of rankings and the rise of audit culture in higher education

Freya Jie Gao has had a secondment at the Sino-Danish Centre for Education in China to collect data for her PhD Project: Conjunction of Chinese and Western educational traditions in the design and teaching of Sino-Danish Centre courses

Corina Balaban has just come back from a three-month fieldwork in the US. She is presenting her data collection in her PhD project: Models of doctoral education
